RACK FOR HOLDING THE GRAPHIC.
A PRETTY and useful article is depicted in our sketch. Many people are saving up their Graphics with the intention of having them bound at the end of the year, and may be glad to find a safe receptacle for them in the meantime. The rack is useful for any newspapers and periodicals. It is simply made. The foundation is the common double
gridiron, with horizontal cross bars. This is painted with two coats of enamel paint, of any colour you wish. Ohl gold or crimson are very suitable. Then, ribbon of two or more colours, according to taste, is interlaced across the front or shorter half of the gridiron, bows being attached at two corners by way of ornament. The ribbons should make a pretty' contiast, ami correspond in some degree with the colour of the enamel. Through the loop on the longer half, or back of the article, lace a ribbon double, and sew a hook on the end of it, leaving it long enough to allow the front to ail just itself when hanging upon the wall as a paper-holder.
