To show you how hard some Sydney ladies work. I may mention that at-a ‘ Circular Bee,’which took place at Mrs Gurney's residence in connection with the new Womens College, 636 circulars were written anil despatched, each accompanied by a printed extract from the Chancellor s ad dress. < inly nine ladies and one gentleman were present, and they say they had afternoon tea and chat. I was not there, so cannot say h nr much writing had to lie done. — Sy C-rn i/H.ntirnt.
