State Examination of Nurses
Nctu Zealand
The State Examinations held m December were the last to be held under the conditions which have prevailed for the last 20 years. The Board appointed under the new Nurses' and Midwives' Registration Act passed last session will now have the control of the Examinations, and the Examinations m June will be arranged for by that body, on which out of the five members three are nurses, viz., the Director, Division of
Nursing, and the two members nominated by the Trained Nurses' Association to represent general nurses and midwives. It is to be noted that although the Nurses' Registration Act, New South Wales, became law m January, 1925, the Board was not ready to conduct the Examinations until 1926, and the A.T.N.A. carried on as usual until the end of the year.
