Obituary
It is with regret we announce the death at Auckland of Miss Christine Oottman, one of the earliest members of the New Zealand Trained Nurses' Association. She had been in failing health for same time, and passed away on the 7th of January. Trained at Salisbury, Miss CJo.ttman worthily upheld the traditions of her profession. She was also a competent masseuse, and her work was much appreci-
ated. She established the Okiokinga Institute for Trained Nurses, which she afterwards sold to Miss Wyatt. The many nurses who at different times lived there look back with love and affection, remembering the kindly welcome that always awaited them on their freturn from their arduous work. She was laid to rest at Eemuera Cemetery, having expressed a wish to be interred there.
