One of the features of sanatorium life at Te Waikato, from the nursing-staff's standpoint, is the golf links. A nine-hole course with more pleasant surroundings would be hard to find. Situated 1135 feet above sea-level, we have a magnificent panoramic view of the Waikato Plains below, with Cambridge and Hamilton m the distance. With glorious " hilltop days "—days of blue skies and bright sunshine — many irksome duties and daily routines have been forgotten m happy hours on " our links." During the season a pleasant surprise came

from the Cambiidge Golf Club m the form of a letter informing us that our golfers, Matron E. M. Martyn, Sisters Brayshaw, McPherson, Wise, and Miss Oliver, V.A.D., had been enrolled as members, and invited to avail themselves of the Club's privileges during their stay at Te Waikato. Many enjoyable afternoons were spent with our Cambridge friends, both on our own and the town links, and when the season closed we prided ourselves that " our form had impioved considerably."
