The 23rd general meeting of the Nurses Association was held on the 31st of March, with Mrs. Todd Smith presiding. There was an attendance of twenty-five members. Miss Orr, Lady Superintendent of Auckland Hospital, was present on the invitation of the Council, and was welcomed by the President and Vice- Presidents.
Correspondence was read relat ing to the t wo resolutions which wore passed at the Central
Council regarding insurance and hours of duty, and, after discussion, the Secretary was directed to reply that the membcis approved of the resolutions. A notice was read that at the next general meeting a motion regarding the list of inside and outside nurses be reconsidered. Arrangements for the winter lectures were then discussed, and afternoon tea. given by members of the Council concluded the meeting.
