Central Council

The time is rapidly approaching when, if the Association is to become affiliated with the International Council of Nurses, application will have to be made ; to the Council.

It is now two years since the first meeting of the Council of the United Association of New Zealand Nurses was held m Wellington. There will be many matters of interest to discuss at the meeting next .year — matters which have arisen out of the work, m its different centres, of the Branch Councils. The value of meetings for discussion,

and interchange of views, is recognised m all professions, and it is .to be hoped that during the next twelve months Branch Councils will consider all the points which have come before them on which the advice of . others would be of use, and send them m due course as remits to the president so that. full opportunity for members of the Central Council to discuss them with their own Councils, and receive instruction upon them, may be afforded.
