Obituary

Members of the Wellington branch of the New Zealand Trained Nurses' Association will have heard with great regret of the death of Mrs Hislop, so long associated as a member of their Council with the nurses of Wellington. She died on 6th September, after a long and trying illness. Her wise council and helpful interest will be much missed in this work, as in the many other private and public enterprises with which she was connected. Her unselfish and kindly consideration for those around her can be well illustrated by one of her last conscious speeches, inquiring after her nurse's eye, which had been painful.
