Referring to Dr. McCann's offer to lecture with or without discussion lor the Christian Evidence Society, tin-. ' National Reformer ' says that that body have refused to allow him to appear as their official representative in discussion. It further states that in the only case in which that Society put forward an official representative (Mr. W. Browne) to discuss with Mr. Bradlaugh, they have not thought it right to publish (he debate of which they had shorthand notes.
