A middle sized dirty looking, labouring man, is charged with indecently exposing himself to Jane Smith, of Moore Street, Ashburton, about 7.30 p.m. 11th ultimo.

During the night of the 13th ultimo, two valuable cattle dogs, the property of Mr. Henry Chamberlain, of Selwyn, were barbarously mutilated by cutting off the penis of each. Mr. Chamberlain offers a reward of £SO, on conviction of the offender.

At 11.20 a.m., on the 28th ultimo, a boy about 7 years of age, dressed in a grey , suit and round black hat, - wilfully set fire to; a gorse fence belonging to Messrs. Harman and Stevens, doing damage to the extent of 15s.

A Police station is now established at Little River, in the Akaroa District, to , which Criminal Off' nces and the usual information should be forwarded.
