Between 5 p.m. 15th, and 8 a.m. 16th ult., a gate upon the property of Mr John Martin Thompson, Springfield road, was maliciously broken by some person or persons unknown.

During the night of the 21st ultimo, two panes of glass were broken maliciously in the office window of Messrs Thompson and Brooks, at the corner of Manchester and St. Asaph streets. Supposed to have been done by larrikins.

On the night of the 21st ultimo, an attempt was made to set fire to an unfurnished house at Waltham, building by Mr Purdie. John Falloon, 14 years, sft, stout build, fair complexion, dressed in light tweed suit, and cap with French peak, still in Waltham, is suspected. .
