Inquiry should be made for the whereabouts of William Davies, a carpenter, Welsh, about 30 years, sft. 7 or Bin., slight build, sandy complexion, thin face, rather prominent nose, Yankee beard, married, but no children ; was accompanied by a brother named David, and a niece named Jane Quinlain, all natives of North Wales. Came to Canterbury from Greymouth. David Davies is about 27 years, stout build, round face, rather freckled, dark brown hair, fresh complexion, a carpenter. Information to.be sent to the Commissioner of Police, Christchurch.
