Stolen from the dwelling of Mr. Robert Parkes, Gloucester street west, about the 13th or 14th August, a pair ol Colonial gold earrings, leaf pattern ; one ol them has been mended —identifiable.

Stolen from the till in Mr. Thomas’ shop, Whately Road, on the 4th September, about 50 shillings, principally in half-crowns and shillings; one shilling much worn and burnt, which is identifiable. Margaret Guerin is suspected.

Stolen from the Presbyterian Manse, Hampden, Oamaru, on the night of the 18th September, the property of the Rev. James Beard, one very large open-faced gold lever watch, No. 10587, elaborately carved flowers on the back, gold dial, black figures, gold guard attached, small link pattern, much worn, maker’s name not known. It has been cleaned and repaired by Mr. Hislop, watchmaker, Princes street, Dunedin, about eight months ago, who no doubt can give the maker’s name. It was left to be repaired by the Rev. Mr. Riley ; valge of watch £2O, chain £3 10s. —identifiable.
