Vide Canterbury Police Gazette, Nov 1, 1869, p. 42 It has been ascertained that Patrick Sullivan, a Missing Friend, is living at or near Oamaru, in the Province of Otago.

Information is requested respecting a man named Peacock, who left Auckland, New Zealand, about two years ago, and has not since been heard of. Information to the Inspector General of Police.
Information is requested concerning George Culmer. Description : 28 years of age, tall, dark, and robust. He joined the Canterbury Police Force 17th April, 1866, and resigned 31st October of the same year; he was afterwards in the employment of Mrs. Waldon, Opawa Accommodation House, in the Timaru district, which place he left about nine or ten months ago. Information to Commissioner of Police, Christchurch, Canterbury.
