Missing Friends.
Information is requested respecting one Thomas Saunders, last heard of by letter dated February, 1857, at Wellan, Bendigo, Post Office, Sandhurst, Victoria. Supposed to have purchased some land near Adelaide. This information is sought for at the instance of the Superintendent, Wellington, New Zealand.
Information is requested respecting Bobert Johnston, who lived near Christchurch, Canterbury Province, about 3 years since, where his father had a farm. Description, about 23 years of age, 5 feet 9 inches high, fair complexion, dark hair, small moustache and beard, blind of left eye. Is likely to be employed as a farm servant. Information to Mr. Shuttleworth, Wanganui, or Commissioner of Police.
Information is requested respecting one E. C. Morgan, who in 1859 and 1860, was following the profession of an Architect and Surveyor, in Picton, and now supposed to be in some part of Otago.
Vide Otago Police Gazette, 4th January, 1869. Information is requested (through the Colonial Secretary’s Office) respecting one Adam Spence, a native of Caugherty, near Bullymena, County Antrim, Ireland; aged about 32, 5 feet 8 or 9 inches high, stout build, fair complexion, blue eyes, brown hair, low forehead, and short broad nose.
