Stolen.
Stolen, from the premises of Thomas Ellis, Halfway House, Moeraki Downs, on the night of the_ nth ultimo, two twenty-eight lb. tins of white paint, ol which no description can be given.
Between the 28th November, 1868, and 14th nit., the Celling house of Win. Tindall, Church Bush, Kaiapoi, was feloniously entered and the follo !\ *? articles stolon therefrom :-Forty lbs. of flour ; halfpound of tea ; four lbs. of sugar; half-pound °f tobacco, one large red blanket; one blue pilot-cloth overcoat with horn buttons, no lining to sleeves, two pockets with flaps, and two breast pockets ; one old axe; one pair of white moleskin trousers; two blue striped florentine shirts, with collars ; one spade having a new short handle. Maoris living m the neighbourhood are suspected.
Stolen, from off a fence on the Lincoln Koad, where it was placed to dry, the property of Julia Burns, a light print dress, wheat ear pattern.
