Informaton is requested respecting John Cameron, a native of the Highlands, Scotland, aged from thirtyfive to forty-five, 5 feet 6 to 8 inches high, dark complexion, dark complexion, hair commencing to

turn grey, minus top front tooth (right side), smart busthng walk, Scotch accent. Has been on the goldfields in New Zealand and other colonies for many years; supposed to be now at Nashville or Cape River. Information to officer in charge of detectives, Brisbane. 13th July, 1868.

Information is requested respecting Cornelius Burke, a Tipperary man, a chemist, aged fifty, 6 feet high, round shoulders, florid complexion, grey hair, clean shaved. He left Rokewood in February, 1860* with the intention of opening a chemist’s shop at St. Kilda ; but has not since been heard of. His brother, John Burke, died at Rokewood on the 2nd June, leaving him all his property.

Vide Victoria Police Gazette, 20th August 1868. Information is requested respecting Gregoire Rossi, or Bossi, of Pianezzo, in the canton of Tessin, who came to Australia in 1854. Last heard of in August, 1863. He seems to have resided, at various times, in Melbourne, Blackwood, and Hepburn. 19th August, 1868.

He came out to this colony with Mr. S. Goode. Description —5 feet 6 inches high, dark hair, Roman nose, rough spoken, supposed to be freckled. This information is sought by Mr. Willcox, Kangaroo House, Adelaide.
