Stolen, on the night of the Bth ultimo, from the person of James Barnwell, of German Gully, Totara, while in a state of intoxication in a dancing saloon,, kept by Jews near the German Gully, South Bush, about £7O in five and ten pound notes; also, two nuggets, weighing about 1 oz. The nuggets alone are identifiable.

Stolen, on the afternoon of the 25th ultimo, from the person of Joseph Hilton, while in a state of intoxication at Heathcote valley, three £lO notes, bank and Fos. unknown. 1 old-fashioned silver openfaced watch, Ho. unknown, maker’s name B. Edwards; with gold chain and locket attached. The locket contains a photograph of Hilton’s wife and son. Hilton left Birdsey’s Hotel, Heathcote valley, drunk, in company with a man described as being tall and thin, fair complexion and clean face, and was after-

Stolen, during the night of the 15th ultimo, from a dwelling in Bosstown, West Canterbury, a morocco leather purse, the property of Cumming and Mackay, containing one £lO note,4 half-sovereigns, some silver, and two cheques on the Union Bank of Australia, drawn by William Chambers in favor of Cumming and Mackay, one for £lO and the other for £5 1/s.
