STRONG SOUTHERN TEAMS RICCARTON AND TRENTHAM A feature of this year’s big winter fixture to be staged at Te Rapa on Saturday is the inclusion in the large and well-balanced fields of a big representation of Southern horses, including Sir Percy (Invercargill), Albino (Wingatui), Valantua, The Vulture, Rockery, Gulf Stream and Maggiore (Riccarton), Tuis, Hormuz, Daljarrock, Moderate and Casilda (Trentham), Red Sign, Flying Tor, Ascot Bloom, Broiefield, Kanui te Pai, Epping, Saludos, Renascor and Beneve (Awapuni), Findon (Gisborne) and Khurja (Hastings).
