OBITUARY
MRS T. CHURCH The death has occurred of Mrs Emma Elizabeth Church, wife of Mr Thomas Church, of “Jersey Brae,” Te Rapa. Born at New Plymouth in 1866. Mrs Church was the daughter of Mr and Mrs J. Moberley, pioneer settlers in Taranaki, and she married Mr Church at Auckland in 1885. Mr and Mrs Church Aiade their home at Birkenhead, where they resided until their removal to Te Rapa 30 years ago. Mrs Church is survived by her husband and an adult family of four. MRS W. NEALIE The death has occurred of Mrs Winifred Nealie, of 5 Richmond Street. Whitiora, widow of the late Mr J. A. Nealie. She was for many years a member of the Whitiora Croquet Club and a prominent worker in the women’s guild of the Presbyterian Church, Frankton. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs L. Giles, and a son, Mr Eric Nealie, who returned three weeks ago after four and a-half years’ service in the Middle East.
