STAFF REDUCTION
MINISTRY OF INFORMATION LONDON, May 15 The Minister of Information, Mr Brendan Bracken has begun a drastic reduction of the Ministry of Information and Censorship staffs, says the Evening Standard. It is the first big cut in Britain’s wartime ministries. Many have already finished work and it is understood that 3000 will have left by June. The staff last April totalled 10,000.
