GAINS NORTH AND SOUTH HOLD ALONG SIEG RIVER (Received March 23, 1 p.m.) LONIDON, March 22 First Army forces in the Remagen bridgehead have pushed the Germans southward within 7£ miles of Coblenz, and northward the Americans have fought their way into Hennef, three miles south-east of Siegburg and extended their hold along nine miles of the south bank of the Sieg River, says an American Press correspondent.
