POOR WHEAT CROPS
RESULT OF DRY WEATHER SYDNEY, Nov. 22 The New South Wales wheat yield would be only 17,000,000 bushels, not 20,000,000, as estimated a few weeks ago, said the State Minister of Agriculture, Mr Graham, today. This further deterioration of crops, he explained, was the result of the abnormally dry weather of the past few weeks. It now appeared that wheat would have to be imported into New South Wales from other States.
