Garden Place Leases
The-tender of Buses Ltd. for the lease of six lots in Garden Place was accepted by the Hamilton Borough Council last night. Mr W. W. Dillicar, in recording his vote against acceptance, said he had understood that Buses Ltd. was acquiring two other sections fronting Alexandra Street, but he was now informed that a private company was acquiring these. He suggested that other councillors had held the same views,, and this might have influenced them in earlier decisions in favour of the company.
