CHARGES IN GREECE
FORMER DICTATOR DETAINED (Received Oct. 30, noon) LONDON, Oct. 29 Tire Greek police detained Theodore Pangalos, aged 70 years, former dictator of Greece, as he was preparing to visit General Sir H. Mait-land-Wilson, says the American Press’ Athens correspondent. M.
Pangalos denied charges published in the Athens press that he collaborated with the Germans and helped to form a Quisling security battalion. He is embittered by his detention in gaol, but admits that he is safer there because of rioters.
