WEDDING

FORREST—OLIVER Holy Trinity Church, Ngaruawahia, was the scene of the wedding recently of Caroline Mary Louisa, only daughter of Mr and the late Mrs T. H Oliver, Whatawhata Road, Ngaruawahia, and Sergeant John Davie Forrest, (2nd N.Z.E.F., on furlough from Pacific), fourth son of Mr and Mrs W. A. Forrest, Princess Street, Ngaruawahia. The Rev. H. Taylor officiated.

The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a fully trained gown of magnolia satin, cut on classical lines with a heart-shaped neck-line. Her tulle veil, held in place by a coronet of lilies and orange blossom,

rell to form a second train. She carried a trailing shower bouquet of spring flowers. The bridesmaids, Miss Mary Forrest (sister of the bridegroom) and Miss Norma Robinson, wore pale green organdie frocks and coronets of green and pink velvet flowers, finished by a green velvet bow at the back. They carried bouquets of spring flowers. The two flower girls, Jeanette Donald and Penelope Sweetman, were frocked ahke in pale pink triple sheer, and carried matching bouquets of spring flowers. Mr W. Forrest was best man, and Mr A. Forrest was groomsman.

The reception was held at the Masonic Hall, where the guests were ieceived by Mrs H. C. Luckstedt, who wore a blue tailored frock, with navy accessories to match, and Mrs W. A. Forrest, who wore a navy frock and coat with accessories and sprays to tone.
