FIGHTING IN BURMA
ENEMY PATROLS DISPERSED LONDON, Sept. 21. In the Chin hills operations continue in the Tongzang area on the Tiddim road, states a Burma communique. In Arakan our mortar-fire dispersed enemy patrols which were active round our recently-captured positions in the Mayu range. In northern Burma elements of the 36th (British) Division continued patrol activity in the railway valley south of Hopin.
