BLAZING AMERICAN BOMBER (Received Sept. 22, 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 21 Furiously blazing an American bomber last evening ploughed its way through a street of small houses on the outskirts of Norwich, leaving a trail of fire and destruction. Seven houses were reduced to rubble and a dozen more damaged. Nearly all the tenants were away from home. The-e was only one fatal casualty. Six members of the plane’s crew were killed. A resident said the street looked like a river of fire as hundreds of gallons of blazing petrol rushed along the gutters.
