HITLER HONOURS COMMANDER (Received Sept. 21, 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 20 The German news agency says: The heroic fight of the German defenders of Brest ended last night after the last shell was fired. Hitler has awarded the Oak Leaves with Swords and Diamonds to the Knight Insignia of the Iron Cross to General Ramcke, commander of the Brest garrison.
