ASSAULT CHARGES
On charges of assaulting two boys aged seven, Arthur Ford Pearson, aged 44, labourer, of Frankton, appeared before Mr S. L. Paterson, S.M., in the Magistrates’ Court, Hamilton, today, and was remanded to October 5 for medical examination. SeniorSergeant A. G. McHugh said accused was before the court in 1936 for a similar type of offence. SeniorSergeant McHugh and Mr E. F. Clayton-Greene, who appeared for accused, agreed that it might be advisable for accused to be medically examined.
