Over the whole Waikato-King Country area, the grand total, including Hamilton, stands at £526,796 18s lid, or 28 per cent of the £1,895,000 objective. ' The Central Waikato Electric Power Board today decided to invest £2200 in the Victory Loan, this making a total of £10,150 in war loans. The board also undertook to assist employees to invest •in the Victory Loan by purchasing bonds, employees to refund the outlay by instalments. The Waipa County Council decided on Monday that it had no funds available for investment in the Victory Loan. All its available funds had already been invested in war loans. Objective percentages obtained to date are: Southland district, 57 per cent; Auckland, 52; Taranaki and Otago, 42; Marlborough, 40; Gis-borne-East Coast, 39; North Otago, 05; Wanganui, 34; Manawatu, 33; Hawke's Bay, 32; Wellington, 31; Nelson and Northland, 30; WaikatoKing Country, 28; Wairarapa, South Canierbury and Canterbury, 27; Buller and Westland, 26; Thames-Bay of Plenty, 23.
