PROTEST FROM FRANCE
WILL TALK AS GREAT POWER LONDON, Sept. 17 The Paris newspaper France Libre, in a leader on the Quebec statement, said:—
“Things must be settled once and for all—are we or are we not our allies’ ally? We do not rejoice in the least at being told that we shall be consulted in the same way as any second or third rate nation. France is a great Power and she will talk as a great Power on the same footing as others or she will remain silent,”
