MOTOR ENGINEERING

WELDING CLUB LECTURE There was a good attendance at the first of a series of lectures organised by the Welding Club for the purpose of making available the latest ideas on motor engineering. The principal speaker was Leading Aircraftman F. C. Smith who dealt with modern practice in air craft engines. The lecture was illustrated with talking films lent by the Air Force. A second series of films illustrated the process used in England in the production of car engines. The occasion also marked the commencement of the Hamilton Technical School classes for apprentices in motor engineering, the boys being the guests of the club for the evening.
