ANNOUNCED KILLED IN ACTION | (Received May 22, 11 a.m.) NEW YORK, May 21 The • Tokio radio announced that I Rear-Admiral Torajiro Sato, “the pride of the submarine units,” has been killed in action. Sato’s name is included in a list of 84 Japanese naval officers reported killed in action. He has received a posthumous award for distinguished service.
