FINAL WARNING
RUSSIA AND BULGARIA LONDON, May 20. In what Reuter’s Moscow correspondent describes as possibly Russia’s final warning to Bulgaria, the Russian journal War and the Working Class warns the rulers in Sofia that they will not succeed in the double game of helping Germany while trying hypocritically to protect themselves by the maintenance of diplomatic relations with the Soviet Union. “Even members of the Government in Sofia,” the journal says, “are taking part in evil anti-Russian slanders. The Bulgarian newspapers are full of filthy slanders and the Bulgarian Government has created insupportable conditions for Soviet representatives in Bulgaria.”
