This is a very young Herd of 2nd, 3rd and 4th Calvers, there being 24 2nd Calvers, 30 3rd Calvers and 86 4th Calvers. Practically all these Cows were specially selected in Taranaki as Heifers by Mr W. F. Duncan for Mr Robinson. In the 1942-43 season the herd of 135 cows, including 30 heifers, produced 37,6001 b. fat.
