CAMBRIDGE SEMI-FINALS The semi-final games in the Cambridge Bowling Club’s annual Easter fours tournament were played late yesterday afternoon. T. Kristovich (Te Aroha) defeated J. S. Anchor (Hamilton), 16—14, and W. R. Hawkins (Frankton) defeated N. Thomson (Te Awamutu). 17—13. The final will be played today, H. Rosenfeldt, L. Bailey, A. Callaghan and H. Powell (Te Aroha) meeting W. McCready, H. Childs, R. P. Bond and W. R. Hawkins (Frankton). The second round resulted: Anchor beat Pilkington, 19—13; Thomson beat Birse 26—14; Kristovich beat Fred Livingstone, 21—17; Hawkins beat Finch, 17—16. WIN FOR FRANKTON TEAM The final of the Cambridge Easter bowling tournament was completed this afternoon, and resulted in a clear-cut win for Hawkins’ team from the Frankton Club, which defeated the Te Aroha team by 21 points to 12.
