Bannister, Masterton, is visiting Hamilton. Miss Nancy MacDonald, Hastings, is the guest of Mrs Don Knox, Hamilton. Princess Elizabeth, whose status as a potential Counsellor of State has been defined by the amendments to the Regency Act, just asked for by the King, has been kept fully conversant with the progress of the constitutional steps necessary to give effect to the change in the law.
