MOT UM A 0110 GATHERING There was a large attendance when the first annual gymkhana was held at Scholium’s paddock. Motumaoho. A feature cf the programme, which w r as conducted most efficiently, was the Wai- j "kato Steer Riding Championship, for which a handsome silver challenge cup has been donated by Messrs C. McColloch and L. Steed. This event was contested by 24 competitors. The patriotic funds benefited to the extent of £2OO as a result o£ the day’s activities.
