EMPIRE COUNCIL
SUPPORT FROM CANADA LONDON, Jan. 13 Support for an Empire Council has been voiced by the Premier of Ontario, Mr G. D. Conant, who has just returned to Canada from Britain. He said the Empire needed some such organisation so as to make easier an exchange of views and work out an Empire policy. The development of an Empire Council did not mean that the Dominions would lose any authority over their own foreign policy, hut it would mean that decisions of policy would be taken in the light of broader views from the discussions.
