VERDICT AT INQUEST
WOMAN STRUCK BY EXPRESS A verdict of accidental death, with no blame attachable to the train crew, was returned at an inquest held before Mr R. P. Knight, J.P., and a jury of four at Ngaruawahia today into the death of Mrs Jessie Hunter Williamson, aged 36, of River Road, Ngaruawahia. Mrs Williamson was 'killed instantly when she was struck by the engine of the north-bound limited express as she was crossing the line at Ngaruawahia on the morning of January 5.
