SOCIAL NOTES
Mrs Frank Findlay, Hamilton, left on Wednesday night for Wellington and will later visit the South Island. Dr. Rhoda Robb, Titirangi, is a visitor to Hamilton. Mrs F. W. Phillips, Hamilton, has returned from a visit to Raglan. Mrs F. Cooke, Auckland, is staying in Hamilton. Mrs A. Head. Hamilton, is spending a holiday at Mangere. Mrs D. O. Mills, Wellington, is visiting Hamilton. Mrs S. C. Walters, Hamilton, has been on holiday at Raglan. Mrs C. W. Johnston, Timaru, is visiting Hamilton. Mrs F. I. Kain, Superintendent of the W.A.A.I. in New Zealand since March, 1941, has been granted special leave and listed on the reserve of the Women’s Auxiliary Air Force. In the meantime she is automatically succeeded by her deputy, Mrs E. N. Carlyon, who holds the rank of squadron officer.
