LONDON, Jan. 12 A big new Russian advance irj the Mosir sector is announced in tonight’s Soviet communique: “The Red Army in the- Mosir sector launched an offensive enc’ alter- two days’ fighting penetrated a stronglyfortified defence line on a 20-mile frorr.t to a depth of 10 miles, liberating over 30 inhabited places, including Kozlovichy, 20 miles south of Bobruisk, also Domanovichi, 15 miles north of Kalinovichi. Troops of the First Ukrainian front captured Sarny and other inhabited places, including Dombrovitsa, 17 miles north cf Sarny. The Russians south-west of Novograd-Volynsk continued their offensive and captured over 50 places, including Pishchev, on the old Polish border, 15 miles west of Novograd Volynslt. The Red Army east of Vinnitsa repelled heavy tank and. infantry attacks, and south of Byelaya Serkov occupied a number of localities. The Russians west and north-west of Kirovo drove the enemy from several strongly-fortified centres of resistance.
