SCHOLARSHIP SUCCESS
CHAMBER OF COMMERCE # The scholarship in connection with the -Hamilton Chamber of Commerce examinations conducted in November last v/as won by Miss Dawn Barker, of Pukeroro, and a student at Brain’s Commercial College. Miss Barker has the distinction of being the second winner of this scholarship, which was won by Miss Betty Stanley, a pupil of Hamilton Technical High School last year. Miss Barker gained honours in junior typewriting, distinction in book-keeping, a pass in shorthand (100 words a minute) and also in senior typewriting and handwriting. Last year Miss Stanley gained distinction in shorthand (140 words a minute), senior typewriting and book-keeping, and a pass in English composition.
