LONDON, Sept. 28
Referring to the establishment of what, in effect, is a provisional capital in a town in the south of Italy, an Associated Press correspondent says Italian soldiers in the town are armed and sentries guard all vital points. A British officer in the town said: “We are getting practically everything we ask. About 70 per cent of the Italian officers are cooperating with us.” The Berlin radio says the Badoglio Government is functioning front Bari.
