SHIPPING COMPANY’S MOVE
(Received Sept. 28, 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 27,
At a special meeting the Cunard Steamship Company unanimously passed a resolution of approval of an alteration in the memorandum of association of the company, giving the directors power to establish air services if necessary, either independently or in conjunction with the passenger, mail and freight services; also to build, purchase, charter or hire aerial conveyances of every description if thought advisable. Sir Percy Bates, chairman of the company, said all appropriate provisions regarding possible aerial developments had been made already.
