KING OF ITALY
NEW CAPITAL SET UP LONDON, Sept. 27 King Victor Emannuel, Crown Prince Umberto and Marshal Badoglio have set up what is virtually a temporary capital in a town in Southern Italy recently occupied by the Allies, says a correspondent at Brindisi. He adds that the King has been in the town nearly a month. The King and his Government will return to Rome when events make this possible. Meanwhile negotiations are proceeding to straighten out Italy’s present political situation.
