DEATH OF NOVELIST

MRS ELINOR GLYN LONDON, Sept. 23 The death has occurred of Mrs Clayton (Elinor) Glyn, the wellknown English novelist. She wrote numerous books, the first being “The Visits of Elizabeth,” published in 1900. The best-known of her subsequent books were “Three Weeks,” “Destruction,” “The Great Moment” and “Romantic Adventure.” She also produced film versions of some of her stories.
