PROTEST TO SPAIN

BRITISH COMPLAINTS VOICED LONDON, Sept. 22 The Foreign Secretary, Mr Anthony Eden, was asked in the House of Commons today about the interview which the British Ambassador to Spain, Sir Samuel Hoare, had with General Franco. Some of these complaints had been remedied, but Sir Samuel Hoare drew attention to others that still had to be dealt with if General Franco’s proclaimed policy of equal treatment to belligerents was to be effectively carried out.
