NEW COMMITTEE SET UP (Received Sept. 8, 11.40 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 7 A Colonial Economic Advisory Committee, to advise the Secretary for the Colonies on the economic policy of the colonial empire, has now been set up as follows: The Duke of Devonshire, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, chairman; Mr G. I. M. Clauson, vice-chairman; Lord Hailey, Sir Bernard Bourdillon, Sir William Goodenough, Sir John Hay, Sir Hubert Henderson, Sir Harold Howitt, Messrs A. Dalgleish, E. F. M. Durrin, J. HaHsworth and J. McFadyen, Captain D. H. Peter and Professor L. C. Robbins.
